FELDA (Federal Land and Development Authority) has invested in the construction of our soybean crushing plant in Becancour along with Twin Rivers Technologies in Boston, MA.
FELDA is a Malaysian government agency reporting directly to the office of the Prime Minister. It was created in 1956 in an effort to help alleviate rural poverty.
FELDA purchased Twin Rivers Technologies (TRT) in October 2007 and became the sole equity investor in ETGO's project in December 2007.
TRT is an American oleo-chemical company with plants in Quincy, MA and Cincinnati, OH. The company specializes in the production of fatty acids, biodiesel, omega-3 and other products.
